Allan J. "Al" Lucas Obituary (1961 - 2013)

of Horseheads, NY passed away after a long battle with cancer on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at the age of 51. Al was born, October 23, 1961 in Rochester, NY, a son to Alvy and Mary Chase Lucas. He is preceded in death by daughter, Shauna and mother, Mary Lucas. Al is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Sally Ann Babcock; his son, AJ Lucas; father, Alvy Lucas; bother and sisters, Charles Lucas, Mary Ellen Davis and Cheryl Mosko; and several nieces and nephews. Al served his country honorably with the US Navy and retired as a Lieutenant Commander after 28 years of service."He will be remembered as a Sailors' Sailor" . The family will welcome relatives and friends to Sullivan's Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St. at Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY on Friday, April 19, 2013 from 5PM-6PM with his Memorial Service to follow. Al will be laid to rest with Full Military Honors in Fremont Cemetery, Town of Fremont, Saturday, April 20, 2013 at 2PM. In lieu of flowers those wishing to remember Al may make donations to James P.
