Anna R. Turner (Reed)

TURNER, Anna R. peacefully went on her journey to heaven at home on July 4, 2015. Ann was born August 2, 1932 in Elmira, NY a daughter to the late Walter R. and Inez Morrison Reed. She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years George E. Jr.; daughter, Karen (Jeff) Ayers; son, Dan (Susan) Turner; five granddaughters, Kristy (Matt) Kimball, Jennifer (Brad) LeBaron, Kati Turner (Josh Cleveland), Megan (Adam) Klimek and Sarah (Shawn) Smith and ten great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a sister and brother-in-law, Roberta and Emery Knapp and great granddaughter, Natalia. Ann worked as an accountant clerk for GMAC financing for 30 years, retiring in 1989. She was a talented knitter, making many sweaters, afghans, and other items for family and friends. Her greatest joys were being with her family, cooking for them, watching their sporting events and celebrating holidays. Ann would never say "good-bye" instead she would say "Day Day" and always ended her conversations with "Love you to Pieces". It was Ann's wishes that services be held privately. Friends and family are invited to join the family for a celebration of her life at their daughters house on Friday afternoon, July 10, 2015 at 3PM.
