Barbara E. Haag\nBig Flats, NY \nWent to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, October 25, 2021 surrounded by her loving family at home after a courageous battle with cancer. Barb was born on July 13, 1950, in Coatesville, PA, the daughter of Ira and Ruth (Rodgers) Engel. Barb is survived by her husband of 46 years, William E. Haag; children, Gordon Haag, Brenda (Peter) Godwin; grandchildren, Anna Charbonneau, Trevor Charbonneau; brother, David L (Beth) Engel and sister, Nancy L. Shortlidge; step-son, William E. (Tawnya) Haag Jr. and their sons Jarred and Justin; her four legged feline companions and a host of friends. \nBarb graduated from West Chester State College with a degree in Elementary education and taught for many years. She enjoyed teaching and taught Sunday school at her church. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. The family will welcome relatives and friends to Sullivan's Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St., at Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY on Friday, October 29, 2021 from 12:30-2PM. Her Funeral Services will follow at 2PM with Pastor Dan Barner. She will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery immediately following.
