Belinda Helen Burczynski Obituary (1967 - 2021)

Belinda Helen Burczynski Horseheads, NY Passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2021 at the age of 54 surrounded by her husband and loving family. Belinda was born in Elmira, NY, a daughter to John and Muriel Hoag Gilbert. She is also pre-deceased by her mother, Muriel and sister, Yvonne Grindel. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband and partner of 27 years, Daniel E. Burczynski; father, John Gilbert; sisters, Jacqueline Gilbert (Joseph Sliwa), Gwendolyn Austin; mother-in-law, Daisy Burczynski; brothers-in-law, Mike (Claire) Burczynski, Tom (Lori) Burczynski, and Frank (Connie) Burczynski; step children, Joshua (Katie) Burczynski and their children, David, Matthew, Aaron, and Elizabeth; Zachary (Megan) Burczynski and their daughter, Emily; Sarah (Chris) Potts and their children, Caleb and Benjamin; and nieces and nephews, Brenton Austin, Michael (Morgan) Grindel and their daughter, Lennon Julia; Angela (Brian) Spake and their daughter, Marin. Belinda loved all animals especially her many horses and cats and possessed a special ability to communicate with them. She enjoyed the out of doors and loved hunting and fishing with family and friends. She will be remembered for her genuine kindness and love and devotion to family. Belinda was always willing to lend a hand and always thinking and caring for others over the years and always ahead of her own needs. Even during her battle with this horrible disease that took her from us she always thanked everyone for even the simplest acts. As her husband, I will love Belinda forever and miss her for the rest of my life and beyond. This world will be a little duller without Belinda's bright smile and giving heart... The family will welcome relatives and friends to Sullivan's Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St. at Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY on Monday, July 19, 2021 from 10AM-1PM. Belinda's Funeral Services will be held immediately following with Fr. John DeSosio. She will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
