Christopher A. Truax Jr. Obituary (1996 - 2018)

Christopher A. Truax Jr. Our beloved Christopher A. Truax Jr. was taken away from us on Friday, September 7, 2018 at the tender age of 21. Christopher was born on September 12, 1996 in Elmira, NY. He was a 2014 graduate of Horseheads High School and was serving his country with the US Marine Corps. Christopher is survived by his very loving and caring family... wife, Alexia D. Truax and son, Christopher A. Truax III of Eagle Pass, TX; Parents, Christopher Sr. and Sandra Truax; brothers, Justin Guzman (US Airforce), Amauri Truax and Jeremy Truax of Horseheads, NY; and sister, Zhanee' Lee of NC. He also had a special bond with his grandmother's Donna Truax of Horseheads, NY and Mary Reddick (Honey) of Elmira, NY and Betty Empson of Elmira Heights, NY; and a host of other relatives and friends, including his military family. The family will welcome relatives and friends to His Tabernacle Family Church, 16 Level Acres Dr., Horseheads, NY on Tuesday, September 18, 2018. Calling hours will be between the hours of 11AM and 3PM. Christopher's Funeral Service will be held immediately following at 3PM with Full Military Honors. He will be laid to rest at Woodlawn National Cemetery, Elmira, NY at 11AM on Wednesday, September 19, 2018.
