Daisy Mary Burczynski (Miles) Obituary (1925 - 2021)

Daisy Mary (Miles) Burczynski Millport, NY Passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, October 1, 2021 surrounded by family at the age of 95. She was born on October 24th, 1925 and had lived in the same NY home for over 70 years. Daisy was the daughter of Isaac Daniel Miles and Janie (Anderson) Miles of Thomasville, Georgia. She was orphaned at 14, and she and her sister, Martha, went to live with an older sister in Florida. She met and married her beloved husband, Joseph Burczynski, on May 1st, 1944 who predeceased her on September 23rd, 2011. Together, they raised four sons in the home they built. In addition to her husband, Daisy was predeceased by her grandson, Andrew Burczynski, on December 30th, 2020, her daughter-in-law, Belinda Burczynski, on July 14th, 2021, and her niece, Patricia Collins, on November 1st, 2020. She is survived by her four Sons and their families; son, Mike (Claire) Burczynski and their family, Ted Burczynski (Jennifer, Michael, Chloe), Heather Burczynski (Cane Ridge, TN); son, Tom (Lori,) Burczynski and their family Jennifer Webster (Mike, Lindsay, Adam, Brooke, Morgan), Joe Burczynski (Priscilla, Anderson, Ariel, Aveline), Catherine Grover, (Gabriel) Beth Smith (Justin, Caleb, Wesley); son, Frank (Connie) Burczynski and their family, Amy Rusby (Jason, Jake, Meghan), Stacy Hess (Mike, Jessica, Michaela), Faye Packard (Jarret, Caitlin) and son, Dan and his family Josh Burczynski (Katie, David, Matthew, Aaron, Elizabeth), Zachary Burczynski (Megan, Emily), Sarah Potts (Chris, Caleb, Ben). Daisy is also survived by a sister, Irene Singletary, Warrenton, GA and several nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbors and friends. The family will welcome relatives and friends to Sullivan's Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St. at Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 from 10AM-12PM. Daisy's Funeral Services will be held immediately following with Fr. John DeSosio. She will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
