Dianne Amberg Obituary (1940

Passed away with her family by her side, in the comfort of her home, on Saturday, morning, August 14, 2010 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Dianne was born August 6, 1940, the eldest of six siblings to Daniel and Alice Opper. She is predeceased by her husband of 50 years, Richard Amberg; father, Daniel Opper and her beloved grandmother, Mary Opper. Dianne was a retired beautician in Elmira Heights and was an avid gardener and animal lover. Survivors include her boys, Rick Amberg of Elmira Heights, Terry (Gidget) Amberg of Elmira Heights, Kyle Amberg of Horseheads; grandchildren; Chelsea, Veronica, Dylan, Cassie and Nathaniel; mother, Alice Opper Beck of Elmira Heights, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive relatives and friends to Sullivan's Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St. at Rt. 13, Horseheads on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 from 5-8PM. It was Dianneas wishes that Funeral Service and burial be held privately.
