Edward E. Byers Sr. Obituary (1933 - 2021)

Edward E. Byers Sr. Erin, NY Passed away on Monday morning, November 22, 2021. Ed was born on September 24, 1933, son of the late Jesse and Pearl Moore Byers. He was also predeceased by his wife, Mary in August of this year. Ed is survived by his children; Edward (Jessica) Byers Jr., Val K. Byers, Karen Hughson, Marilyn Paulo, and Steve Elwell; several loving grandchildren, great grandchildren; sister, Mildred and extended family members. The family will welcome relatives and friends to Sullivan's Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St., at Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY on Saturday, November 27, 2021 from 10 AM-11 AM. A Funeral Service will be held at 11AM with Pastor Bob Russell. Interment with Military Honors will be held at Scotchtown Cemetery, Erin, NY immediately following. The family would like to express their appreciation for the loving care given by the fifth floor staff of St. Joseph's Skilled Nursing Facility.
