Elaine D. "Dee Dee" Badr (Dewey) Obituary (1963 - 2016)

BADR, Elaine D. "Dee Dee" Passed away on Wednesday morning, February 24, 2016 at the age of 53. Elaine was born on January 24, 1963 in Elmira, NY a daughter of Guy and Marie Hanigan Dewey. Elaine was pre-deceased by her son, Jeremy in January of this year and her mother, Marie in June of 2008. She was employed by Finger Lakes DDSO as a supervisor at Painted Post IRA. Elaine was a great mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend. Her heart was always compassionate for stray cats and coffee. Although her time here was short she will always have an impact on those around her. We love you DeeDee always and forever. Elaine is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Brink of Elmira, NY; grandson, Cayden Brink; father, Guy (Carol) Dewey; brother, Mark (Elizabeth) and Darrin Dewey; sister Jamie Roche and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will welcome relatives and friends to Sullivan's Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St., at Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY on Saturday, March 5, 2016 from 1 -3 PM with her Memorial Service to follow.
