Elizabeth R. "Betty" Cook Obituary (1929 - 2012)

Of Horseheads, NY passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 29, 2012 at Bethany Manor at the age of 82. Betty was born on August 18, 1929 in Elmira, NY a daughter of the late Ralph and Carolyn Hartman Reynolds. Betty was employed at Westinghouse as a switchboard operator. She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Lewis Cook; daughter, Tanya Cook (Jim Stewart) of Welch, WV; sons, Bruce (Theresa) Cook of Syracuse, NY and Roy (Michelle) Cook of Horseheads, NY; grandchildren, Scott, Christopher, Matthew, Mary and Tyler; great grandchildren, Tristan and Alizander; daughter-in-law, Chris Cook of Chippewa Falls, WI; sister-in-law, Florence Reynolds and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her son, Lee; nephew Richard; brothers, Ralph and Robert and sister Rosalie. The family will welcome relatives and friends to Sullivan's Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St. at Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY on Saturday, March 3, 2012, from 9-1PM. Betty's Funeral Service will be held immediately following with Rev. Rhonda Kouterick.
