Evelyn E. Busch (Sherman) Obituary (1918 - 2018)

Evelyn E. (Sherman) Busch of Fairport, NY passed away peacefully on January 1, 2018 with family by her side. She was 2 months shy of her 100th birthday. Evelyn was born on March 16, 1918 in Pittsford, NY, the youngest of 11 children of the late Herman and Augusta Kraft Witt. She was pre-deceased by her 10 siblings, her first husband Harold Sherman, her second husband Frederick Busch, and her daughter Gay Blankenberg. Evelyn is survived by her daughter Linda (Dick) Williams, six grandchildren (Chris Sherman, Michelle Pullano, Michael Williams, Brian Williams, Scott Williams and Mark Williams), 13 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. Evelyn was a lifelong resident of the Fairport area. She was devoted to her daughters and their families. She also had a very close relationship with her 4 sisters, spending many years, playing cards, enjoying vacations, and family get-togethers. They also really enjoyed eating together. The family is deeply appreciative of her caregivers and thoughtful visitors over the past several years. The family will welcome relatives and friends to Evelyn's Memorial Service at the Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Fairport, NY on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 11AM with her Pastor Abigail Hoffman.
