\n\nLOVITCH, FRANCINE\n\nAge 81, of Elmira, NY, died on Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at the Chemung County Nursing Facility. Francine was born in Syracuse, NY on September 4, 1934 to Ralph & Esther (Buff) Paltowritz. She is survived by loving husband, Norman Lovitch; daughter, Linda Lovitch; son, Mark Lovitch; daughter in-law, Tara Lovitch; grandchildren, Jessica Pitcock, Meiron Menzin, Ayala Menzin and Yaara Menzin. She was a 1952 graduate of Southside High School. Francine worked at the law offices of Rhodes & Levinger for 30 years as a legal secretary. She was a member of Congregation Shomray Hadath and Congregation Kol Ami. Francine taught Hebrew Sunday School at Congregation Shomray Hadath and also taught kindergarten at the Federation Building. She was a volunteer at the Jewish Community Center. Francine was a great wife and mother. THERE WILL BE NO CALLING HOURS. FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD IN CONGREGATION KOL AMI 1008 W. WATER ST. ELMIRA, ON SUNDAY, MARCH 6, AT 1:00PM. RABBI OREN STEINITZ OFFICIATING. INTERMENT TO FOLLOW IN FRANKLIN STREET CEMETERY, ELMIRA.
