Freda Irene Teed Obituary (1921 - 2011)

TEED, FREDA I. Longtime resident of Elmira, NY passed peacefully away Tuesday morning, January 25, 2011 at Elcor Health Services at the age of 89. Freda was born July 16, 1921 in Fultonville, NY, a daughter of the late Robert & Henrietta Hallenbeck Teed. Freda was a graduate of EFA Class of 1940, member of North Presbyterian Church, volunteered for many organizations including, Chemung County Historical Society and RSVP and was known for her knitting, sewing, avid reading and her crossword puzzles. Freda is survived by her cousin, Roger (Dorothy) Hallenback and family, special friend Chris Miller and several friends. Family and friends will be received at Sullivan's Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St. at Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY on Friday, January 28, 2011 between the hours of 12-1PM. Funeral Services will follow at 1PM with Rev. Gary Chorpening.
