Vonderchek, James, W. A spirited and vibrant 81 year old, passed away at home peacefully Friday, December 4, 2015. Although he battled several types of cancer for the past 7 years he never stopped living the life he loved. Cutting hay, splitting wood and feeding his deer until the very end. He will be missed deeply by his friends and family. He is survived by his sons, Allyn Vonderchek (Annie-Laurie Blair) of Cincinnati, and Scott Vonderchek (Monica) of Elmira Heights; granddaughters, Keisha Vonderchek (Tony Curkendall) of Elmira, Rebecca Vonderchek (Thomas Khoury) of Cincinnati, Hailey Vonderchek (Andy Austin) of Beaver Dams; grandson, Blair Vonderchek of Cincinnati; step-grandson Sean Rundell of Gloversville; great-grandson, Talon Curkendall and his best friend Brownie (Guy) Brown of Veteran. We invite you to an informal gathering to celebrate his life and share your stories on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Sullivan's Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St., at Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY from 1 - 3 pm.
