Joanne B. Tinker Obituary (1931 - 2014)

A longtime resident of Horseheads, NY passed away on Wednesday, January 15, 2014 at the age of 82.Joanne was born April 27, 1931, a daughter of the late Harry and Josephine Jaynes Butters. Joanne worked at Iszard's and Coldiron Fuel and was very active in the Horseheads Ladies Fire Auxiliary, Horseheads Historical Society, Clemens Center, Petal Pushers Garden Club and the Girl Scouts. She is pre-deceased by her loving husband, Elmo Tinker after 51 years of marriage. She is survived by her daughters, Marcia Tinker & J. Patrick Arndt and Jayne Tinker & Paul Spadafora and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. The family will welcome relatives and friends to Sullivan's Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St. at Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY on Friday, January 17, 2014 from 5PM-8PM and again at the funeral home on Saturday, January 18, 2014 from 10AM-12PM with Funeral Service to follow at 12PM with Rev. Rhonda Kouterick. Joanne will be laid to rest along side her husband, Elmo at Maple Grove Cemetery immediately following.
