Joseph Grosz\nAge 61 of Elmira, NY left his earthly body to be with the Lord on July 25, 2019 with his family by his side after a brave battle against cancer. Joe was born October 30, 1957 in Passaic, NJ the son of Rozalia Rideg and the late Joseph Grosz. He married his wife Joy (Harrington) on May 7, 1994 giving them a wonderful 25 yearlong marriage. Joe was pre-deceased by his father Joseph Grosz and stepfather Frank Rideg. Joe is survived by his Loving wife, Joy T. Grosz; mother, Rozalia Rideg; son and daughter-in-law, Brice A. & Emily Lower; daughter and son-in-law, Vinesa J. and Tyrone Farmer; 6 beautiful grandchildren, Brayden, Petyen, Noah, Sara ,T.J. and Theo; brothers, George Grosz and Frank (Leean) Rideg; sister and brother-in-law, Rose & Scott Stevens; several nieces, nephews, cousins and many more loving family and friends, especially Jim Cappriotti and Pastor Corey Cooke. Joe was a loving and devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather, and a loyal friend too many. Joe was the very devoted owner of American Eagle Contractors and was an extremely hard-working man who stayed on the job until the very end. If there is a roof that needs repair in heaven there's no doubt that he's on it! The family would like to thank the staff from Carefirst for their continued support and give a special thank you to Maranatha Bible Chapel and Rev. Scott Wolf for their assistance during this very difficult time. Joe was a true inspiration and touched many lives. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Joes life on Friday, August 2, 2019 at 6PM at Maranatha Bible Chapel, 774 Sing Sing Rd., Horseheads NY.
