Karren Ann Harter

HARTER, Karren Ann Of Horseheads, NY went to her heavenly home peacefully on Sunday, December 18, 2016. Karen was born December 24, 1942 in Goshen, NY, a daughter of the late William and Helen Cooke Jaynes. She retired as a hairdresser for over 47 years. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church and the Horseheads Historical Society. Karen is pre-deceased by her husband, Robert Harter in October 2015. She is survived by her sister, B.J. (Manny) Rovithis and niece and nephew, Demetrois Rovithis and Tia Ann (Vinny) Basile and several cousins. Family and friends are invited to Karen's Celebration of Life at First United Methodist Church, 1034 W. Broad St, Horseheads, NY on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at 11AM. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Maple Grove Cemetery immediately following. Fellowship celebration luncheon to follow.
