Kenneth H. Theetge Sr. \nof Cayuta, NY passed away on Saturday, September 22, 2018 at the age of 79 surrounded by his loving family. Kenneth was born on March 27, 1939 in Elmira, NY, to the late Harold and Mildred Smith Theetge. He is predeceased by his loving and devoted wife, Sherry; son, Kenneth "Stub", grandson, Shawn Beach, son-in-law, Ralph "Skip" Beach and sister, Dawn Ruger. Kenneth is survived by his beloved children, Norman (Lyn) Theetge, Ryan (Sue) Theetge, daughter-in-law, Sharon Theetge; daughters, Gena (Jim) Benedict, Dianna (Jim) Personius , Johanna (Rich Morgan) Theetge and Paula (Steve Lyon) Theetge; beloved grandchildren, Fiji (Mary), Angela, Mike (Patrice), Ryan (Corrie), Curt (Carissa), Brandon, Nathan (Amanda), Kristen (Shad), Sherry (John), Jimmy, Chris (Sarah), Matt (Marissa), and Courtney (Mark); beloved great grandchildren, Lucy, Evelyn, Peter, Kyla, Camden, Madalyn, Jaden, Emmie, Abigail, Aubry, Avery, Briley and Brandilyn; brother, Jeff (Karen) Theetge; sister-in-law, Dixie (Bob) VanHouten; brother-in-law, Dale (Bonnie) Comfort; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a large and loving extended family. Ken will be remembered for the love and devotion he had for his wife of 56 years and his unconditional love for his family. He was a wonderful caring man with a big generous heart. His passion in life included fishing with his family and friends, hunting, gardening and building race cars with his sons and grandsons. He was truly a "Jack of all trades and a master of all". He was also a Ford lover. The family will welcome relatives and friends to Sullivan's Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St. at Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY on Thursday, September 27, 2018 from 3-6 PM with services to follow. He will be laid to rest at Maple Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
