LaFayette N. "Hud" Miller Jr.

passed away as a result of an accident on Friday, July 26, 2013 at the age of 51. LaFayette was born April 24, 1962 in Elmira, NY, a son of the late LaFayette and Claribel Cook Miller Sr. LaFayette is survived by his fiance, Jodi Knoll; children, Noah, twins, Nathan and Nolan Miller, and Chandler Perez; sisters; Patricia (Charles) Beemer, Donna (Earl) Seymour, Cece (Rod) Dayton; Mary (Jeff) Case, and Ruth "Tiny" Payne; brother, Alvin Miller all of Elmira; and and several nieces, nephews and cousins. LaFayette worked in maintenance with Salvation Army and St. Mary Our Mother Church. He enjoyed the outdoors, was very competitive and always made everyone laugh. The family will welcome relatives and friends to Sullivan's Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St. at Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY on Thursday, August 1, 2013 from 4-7PM with Funeral Services to follow at 7PM. LaFayette will be laid to rest at St. Mary Our Mother Cemetery, Horseheads, NY.
