PASTRICK, Leo Thomas of Catlin passed away on Sunday evening, after a valiant, ass kicking battle with cancer on November 19, 2017 at the age of 73. Tom was born, March 20, 1944 in Elmira, NY, a son to the late John C. and Eliza Hodge Pastrick. Tom is preceded in death by his son-in-law, Dale Crout. He is survived by his wife, Mary Pelchar; children, Bruce (Lisa) Pastrick, Wayne (Laura) Lynch, Brenda Crout (Gary Kelly), and Christian (Samantha) Pelchar; grandchildren, Hannah, Alexander, Carlyle, William, Kendale, and Madison; siblings, Daniel (Diana) Pastrick; James Pastrick,(JoAnne Fratarcangelo) JoAnne (Jerry) Schucker, John "Mike" (Becky) Pastrick, and Sally "Jane" Frasier, several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, his four legged companions Moose and Smokey and a host of friends and neighbors. Tom served his country honorably with the US Army as a MP and Airborne Ranger from 1963-1969. Tom wore several hats during his journey in life, including, Past Commander at the Horseheads American Legion, and Past Fire Chief in Hector, NY. He enjoyed traveling and was a kind, caring, fair and humble person. He would also give his shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. It was Tom's wishes that services be held privately. The family would like to thank the Falck Cancer Center's entire staff for taking such excellent care of him.
