Lois J. Gee

Formerly of Big Flats, NY passed away at Bethany Manor Wednesday morning, November 23, 2011 at the age of 82. Lois was born May 4, 1929, a daughter of the late Irvin H. & Mary Jane Dedrich Kottwitz. She is survived by daughters, Linda (Philip) Smith, Lana Myers, Sandra (Thomas) Gallagher and Pamela (John) Bretz; sons, Gordon Gee and David Gee; granddaughters, Melissa, Sarah, Emily; great grandchildren, Danielle, Melinda, Abby and Will; brother, H. Daniel Kottwitz; sister, Berniece Foley; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Private family graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date. The family respectfully requests memorials be made to The Salvation Army Safe House, 414 Lake St., Elmira, NY 14902 or Southern Tier Pregnancy Resource Center, 571 St. Joseph's Boulevard, Ste. 201, Elmira Medical Arts Center, Elmira, NY 14901 in her memory.
