Loretta S. "Liddy" Savey Obituary (1929 - 2016)

SAVEY, Loretta S. "Liddy" of Elmira, NY went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 2, 2016 at the age of 86. Liddy was born December 3, 1929 in Elmira, NY, a daughter to the late Stephen and Stella Mikolajcak Fundurulic. Liddy was preceded in death by her brothers Joseph and Frank, sister Theresa, and their spouses. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 47 years, Donald K. Savey; brother, Stephen (Rose) Fundurulic of Beaver Dams, NY; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth (David) Mayo and Jean (Jake) Sweitzer; and several nieces and nephews. Liddy graduated from Elmira Free Academy and was a faithful volunteer at St. Casimir's Church and School throughout her life. She will be lovingly remembered for her generous spirit and caring nature. The family will welcome relatives and friends to Sullivan's Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St. at Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY on Monday, December 5, 2016 from 2 - 3:30PM with her Funeral Service to follow with Fr. Scott Kubinski. She will be laid to rest at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at 11AM.
