Michael E. Masin Sr. Obituary (1942 - 2017)

MASIN Sr. , Michael E. of Breesport, NY passed away peacefully on Monday, July 3, 2017 at the age of 74. Mike was born on July 11, 1942 in Montour Falls, NY a son of the late Frank and Elizabeth Chrisman Masin. He was a retiree from the USPS and served his country honorably with the US Air Force. Mike was also a Past Master of Southern Light Lodge and a member of the Excelsior Southern Light Eastern Star. Mike will always be remembered for his unique sense of humor and his love for his cats. He is pre deceased by his first wife, Mary Rafferty Masin and siblings John Masin and Linda Williammee. Mike is survived by his wife, Carol Bush Masin of Breesport, NY; daughter, MaeLynn Dieterle of N. Chemung, NY; Mike Masin Jr. and fiancee Stephanie Bunner of Charleston, SC; his loving and adored grandchildren, Justin, Amanda, Brandon, Ben and Cameron; sisters, Dorothy (Rodger) Blanchard, Fran Chapman and Clara (Tommy) Scott; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate his life at the North Chemung Methodist Church, N. Chemung, NY on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 1PM with Fred Kesley. The family graciously accepts remembrances with donations in Mike's memory to a charity of one's choice.
