Bush, Oakley C. "Papa" Of Horseheads, NY, passed away on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 after an extended illness surrounded by his loving family at the age of 67. Oakley was born June 26, 1947 in Elmira, NY, to the late Oakley and Winona Nichols Bush. He was pre-deceased by his infant daughter and sister, Marcia Newcomb. Oakley is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, June Morse Bush; daughters, Laura (Dan) Brooks of Horseheads, NY; Traci Bush (Jamie Hartman) of Horseheads, NY; grandchildren, Keisha Vonderchek, Hailey Vonderchek, Tanner Brooks, and Breanna Hartman; sisters, Linda Campbell, Nelda (Tim) Donnelly; brother, Ira Keith (Peg) Bush; sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen and Dorothy, brothers-in-law, Daniel and Dennis and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Oakley worked various jobs, most currently at Toshiba. He also enjoyed being with his family, outdoor activities, and always had a good sense of humor even till the end. The family will welcome relatives and friends to Sullivan's Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St. at Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY on Saturday, November 15, 2014 from 12-2 PM and his Funeral Service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 2PM.
