Went to be with the Lord on Thursday evening, July 7, 2022 at the age of 73. Patty was born July 30, 1948 a daughter of the late Martin and Alberta Evans Lowman. She was also pre-deceased by her sister, Geraldine “Gerry” Bixby; brother, Marty Lowman; grandson, Josh Malin and previous husband, Donald Palmer.

Patty is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 12 years, Gerald Borden; sons, Bill and Matthew Malin; grandchildren, Dominic, Alison, Brittany, Matthew, and Andrew; niece, April Borden; several great grandchildren, extended family members and a host of friends.

Patty was blessed with 12 years of marriage to Jerry and will be lovingly remembered for her everyday care and thoughtfulness. She retired after 35 years from the Arnot Ogden Medical Center and loved time spent with Jerry during their long rides. She was a beautiful lady that enjoyed giving.

The family will welcome relatives and friends to Sullivan’s Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St., at Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY on Wednesday, July 13, 2022 from 4-6PM with her Memorial Service to follow at 6PM.

The family would like to extend a special thank you for the loving care that Tracey Stansfield and Carina Bower extended her during Patty’s last few months.
