Passed away after a short illness on Thursday, June 3, 2021 at the age of 78. She was born January 22, 1943 in Brooklyn, NY, a daughter of the late Edward and Edna Preiser Gallagher. She was also predeceased by husband, Norman Thresher and brothers, Edward and Arthur Gallagher. Pat was co-owner of Emily's Florist where she loved spending time getting to know anyone who walked in. If you ever stopped by, you would see her laughing with customers, making beautiful corsages or even heading out to do deliveries in her beloved truck, Lady Luck. In her free time, Pat enjoyed crocheting, playing Nintendo, exploring her genealogy, and having family meals. She was also an avid antiquer and was proud of her collection of piggy banks and decorative swans. However, above all else Pat was an animal lover. Throughout her life, she provided a loving home to countless dogs, cats, birds, goldfish, a bunny, and, in her youth, even a monkey. She is survived by her children, Linda (Matthew) Balek and their family, Robert and Everett Knowles, Stephanie (Abel) Gunn, Brandon (Ariana) and Bryon Balek; Donna Thresher (fiance Cory Nares) and her children, Danielle (Julian) Bufano and Deanna (Dakota) Donald; Rhonda (George) Menegus and their children, Aubrey (Tim) Thiesing and Matthew; Joe (Elaine) Thresher and their children, Emily, Olivia, Benjamin and Riley; Joyce Cole and her children Scott and Megan; great-grandchildren, Nora, Luca, Zach, Mason, Dustin, Ethan and Lilith; "sister", Alice Mackay; brother, William Gallagher and several extended family members, loving customers and friends. The family will welcome relatives and friends to Sullivan's Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St. at Rt 13, Horseheads, NY on Saturday, June 12, 2021 from 3PM - 5PM. Services will follow at 5PM.
