Passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022 at the age of 29, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Paul was born December 31, 1992 in Corning, NY, the son of Carlos L. Colon and Melissa Bennett (Colon) Bright.

He is survived by his parents, Carlos and Melissa; daughters, Hailey, Aubree, Vanessa; significant other, Gia Rose; grandparents, Paul (Sharon) Bennett and Sarah Cruz; sister, Nicole Colon (Timothy Strickland) and their children, Timothy and Taniya; nephews Deonte, Jordan and Grant; niece Amari; brother, Carlos Colon and his children, Mia, Carlos and Caelynn; brothers Jeremiah, Nathaniel, Antonio, Michael and Jovian; sisters Wendi and Alexis; aunts Janet, Laurie, Paula and Pam; uncles David and Miguel and a host of cousins and friends.

He is pre-deceased by his Grandfather, Reynaldo Osario Cruz; step-father Paul Bright and sibling Reynaldo.

He was recently employed by Total Sands Solutions and eagerly looking forward to a future with the company.

Paul cherished time spent with his daughters, who were his pride and joy. Paul could always be found interacting with his daughters by taking them to parks, reading books or sitting on the floor playing games. Paul also joined his nieces and nephews when visiting, in any activity they were involved in. Paul had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh.

Paul lived life leading with his emotions. Paul's quiet nature was acquired through the bond he shared with his Grandfather, Paul, whom he was named after. His Grandfather was his father figure, role model and biggest supporter.

Although Paul's life ended too soon, we will cherish the memories we are left with through the smiles and laughs we shared. He will always be in our hearts and forever be missed.

The family will welcome relatives and friends to Sullivan’s Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St. at Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY on Friday, September 16, 2022 from 4-6PM with his funeral services to follow at 6PM.
