Phyllis Ann Zazynski (nee Nowaczyk), \nGloucester, VA\nAge 80, passed away Saturday February 15, 2020 in Gloucester, VA. Phyllis was born in 1939 in Elmira, New York to Edward and Dora Novick. She was a former long time resident of Horseheads, NY where she provided in home daycare services for dozens of children in the Ridge Road area for several decades. Phyllis was predeceased by her loving husband, Frank J. Zazynski, who passed away in 2015. She is survived by her three children; John (Debbie) Zazynski of Horseheads, NY, Patricia Zazynski of Raleigh, NC, and Linda (Nelson) Zazynski of Gloucester, VA. Phyllis is also survived by two brothers; Floyd Nowaczyk of Houston, TX and Edward (Beverly) Novick of Horseheads, NY. She was predeceased by siblings; Anthony (Mary) Nowaczyk, Joyce (Robert) Lee, and Kathleen (Robert) Brown. Phyllis and a Frank are also survived by 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren as well as many loving nieces, nephews and dear friends to cherish their memory. Lastly, Phyllis shared a special bond with and leaves to honor her life, her great grandson Zander Zazynski of Raleigh, NC who was the pride and spunk of her life! The family will welcome relatives and friends to Sullivan's Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St., Horseheads, NY on Friday, February 21, 2020 from 3 PM-5 PM with her Funeral Service to follow at 5 PM. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband at Maple Grove Cemetery on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at 10AM.
