Raymond Walter Snover Jr. Obituary (1926 - 2019)

Raymond W. Snover, Age 92, of Horseheads NY, passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, February 16, 2019. Raymond was born in Scranton, PA on October 2, 1926. He enlisted in the Navy and served from 1944 -1946. He married his sweetheart Loleta June Shepard, on December 6, 1948 and together they had four children, Rayne Williams, Lois Childs, Leta Snover, Joanne Zenobia and had many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Raymond spent most of his career as a self-employed mason contractor, and in his spare time he loved to work on his farm raising livestock and gardening. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to Hospice, Dr. Devlin, his VA team, Cathy, Kim, Desire, Jennifer, Yesenia, Stephanie, Staci, Lauren, Denise, Deserai, Leona and Kristen for the wonderful and loving care they provided. A private service was held on February 22 at Sullivan's Funeral Home and internment at Bath National Cemetery with full military honors.
