Passed away surrounded by his loving family by his side on Thursday, September 1, 2022 at the age of 53. Ben was born February 27, 1969 in Managua, Nicaragua, the son of Ricardo Lau Castillo and Yolanda Ferretti de Lau.

He is survived by his loving wife of 25 years, Julie D. Pearson Lau; children, Cristian (Rhoda) Lau; Suyen Lau; granddaughter, Atalia Reign Lau; sisters, Marisol (Pedro) Sequeira, Maribel (Carlos) Tom; Suyen (Luis Fernando) Arriaza; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

He was employed by the Arnot Ogden Medical Center for the last several years, working most recently as a senior data analyst. Ben not only loved his work but he loved and valued everyone he worked with.

The family will welcome relatives and friends to The L, 116 Breesport Rd., Horseheads, NY on Sunday, September 4, 2022 from 2-4 PM. Ben’s Funeral Services to follow at 4PM with Pastor David Swartwood.
