Rick Houper, Grandpa Hoops, 78 Family and golf could make him smile and make him proud.He never hesitated to brag about either, for his love was overwhelming. We didn’t really get to say goodbye and our words wouldn’t have been enough at the time. We found peace in knowing and saying “I love you” without hesitation - each day - each time we talked. He honored his country, his family, and he made us proud. Our love and our memories will now be enough to carry our family forever. We were blessed to have him in our lives.
