Age 77, Passed away unexpectedly January 12, 2018. Richard was born December 21, 1940 to Walter and Josephine Klein. After his years of service, he joined his brother Bob in Klein Bros. Plumbing. He eventually became the Owner/Operator of the Chemung County Roto-Rooter Sewer Service franchise, retiring after 40 years of service. His grandchildren, Bethany, Lindsey (Christopher), Zachary, Madison and Emilee. Great grandchildren, Noah, Hadley, Hunter, and Carson and his beloved boxer, Baily "Baby Cakes", all of Horseheads. His sister, Nancy Klein of Austin, TX and brothers, Robert (Judy) Klein and Roger Klein both of Horseheads. Several nieces, nephews and other family too numerous to mention. Life-long friends Warren Eno, Robert Miller and Randy White and a large Navy "family" with members all over the U.S. Richard enjoyed many years working for John and Jean Boor on the family dairy farm and considered the Boor family his second family. He loved riding his Harley, driving his pickup, traveling for Bike Week and for USS Lexington re-unions, and many summers camping at Smith Park on Seneca Lake with family and friends. Richard's wishes were to have no calling hours or funeral services.
