Robert M. Harter

HARTER, Robert M. Of Horseheads, NY went to his heavenly home peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer, Friday evening, October 2, 2015 in the comfort of his home at the age of 72. Bob was born June 22, 1943 in Elmira, NY, a son of the late Marshall and Alma Bennett Harter. He retired as a supervisor from Eastern Metal after 45 years. His interests include Antique Cars and was a member of several car clubs and an active member of the First United Methodist Church. Surviving is his loving wife of 48 years, Karren Jayne Harter; sister-in-law, B.J. (Manny) Rovithis and niece and nephew, Demetrois Rovithis and Tia Ann (Vinny) Basile and several cousins. Family and friends are invited to Bob's Celebration of Life at First United Methodist Church, 1034 W. Broad St, Horseheads, NY on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 11AM. Fellowship celebration luncheon to follow.
