WEBSITE Robert E. “Bob” Stocum Jr. Horseheads, New York Passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026 at the age of 76. He was born in Elmira, New York on October 27, 1950 to the late Robert Stocum and Lois Wheet Stocum. He is predeceased by his parents, as well as his sister and brother-in-law Carol and Ken Seymour, and nephew Michael Seymour. Bob is survived by his brother, Richard (Mary-Lynne) Stocum of Horseheads, New York; niece and nephews, Kristen Stocum, Jon Stocum, James Stocum, and David Seymour. Bob served in the US Navy Reserves as a radar technician from 1971-1972. He worked as a machinist for many years primarily at Carbaugh Tools in Horseheads, New York, but also spent time working in Houston, San Antonio and Charlotte. He loved his motorcycles, and especially his many dogs over the years. The family welcomes your condolences at this time, but services will be held at a later date.
