Ronald K. Kent

of Pine Valley, NY passed away on Monday, May 20, 2013 at the age of 91. Ronald was born July 1, 1921 in Pine Valley, NY, a son of the late Raymond and Maizie Bauman Kent. He is pre-deceased by granddaughter Heidi and daughter-in-law Diane Kent. Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Eleanore Forrest; sons, Kenneth (Jean) Kent and Wayne Kent; grandchildren, Sarah (David), Andrea (Matthew), Kathleen, and Kody; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Noah, Matthew, Alexis, Makayla, Jonathan, Ava, Madison, Parker, and Chloe; sister, Henrietta Dudek; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and special family members, Norma Erickson and Aaron Jacobus. Ron owned and operated Willowglade Farm in Pine Valley where he raised registered Holstein cows, Appaloosa horses and his beloved peacocks. He will always be remembered for his kindness and willingness to help anyone in need. The family will welcome relatives and friends to calling hours at Sullivan's Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St. at Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY on Friday, May 24, 2013 from 5pm to 7pm with his Funeral Services to follow at 7pm.
