Sara L. Pastrick Obituary (1941 - 2021)

Sara L. Pastrick Horseheads, NY Went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the age of 80. Sara was born October 8, 1941, the daughter of Kenneth and Norma VanZile Seelye. She was raised in Knoxville, PA. She went to school to become a nurse and graduated from Arnot School of Nursing. She had found her career at Elcor as an RN where she was well known and loved by all she cared for. She retired in 2004 after 26 years of dedication. She then spent her retirement enjoying time with her family and friends wether it be going to rummage sales, playing cards or having tea parties. Sara had a heart of gold and was a dedicated mother, grandmother and friend who loved her family deeply. Sara is survived by her loving family, Mary Jane (Tony) Maggitti and Jane Frasier; children, Catherine (Dan) Barr and Terry Pastrick (Tammy); grandchildren, Tara (Carissa) Pastrick-Marshall, Theresa, Danielle, and Daniel Barr and seven great grandchildren and several extended family members and a host of friends.The family will welcome relatives and friends to Grace Church of the Nazarene, 431 Wygant Rd., Horseheads, NY on Monday, December 13, 2021 from 4-6PM. Her Memorial Service with Rev. Keith Fields will follow at 6PM. As all are welcomed, we will be adhering to NYS regulations for social distancing.
