Stewart Dewain Rankin Obituary (1939 - 2022)

Stewart Dewain Rankin Horseheads, NY Went to his home peacefully on Thursday, March 10, 2022 at the age of 82. Stewart was born on October 14, 1939 in Waverly, PA, the son of the late Harold and Margaret Weaver Rankin. In addition to his parents he is deceased by his wife, Patricia "Patty" and all his siblings. He is survived by his sons, Thomas D. (Caroline) Rankin and James E. (Kathleen) Rankin; grandchildren, Justin (Jess), Amanda (Chad), Joshua, Nicole, Cameron and Angelique; great grandchildren, Baylee, Atticus, Charliee, Zoey, Carson, Connor, and Quinn; brother-in-law, Duane E. Comfort; sisters-in-law, Nina L. Miller and Mary Jane Austin and several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Stewart retired from truck driving with Yellow Freight. The family will welcome relatives and friends to Sullivan's Funeral Home 365. E. Franklin St. at Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 from 12PM-2PM with his Memorial Service to follow at 2PM. He and his wife, Patricia will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
