of Elmira, NY passed away peacefully on November 16, 2012 at the Bath VA Medical Center. Tom was born August 20, 1939 in Elkland, PA, a son of the late Benjamin and Martha Jeffers Moore. Tom served his country honorable with the US Army, was employed by Hardinge as an electrician and was an avid outdoorsman. He was pre-deceased by his brothers, Philip, Francis, and Jack Moore; sisters, Pearl Flewellyn, Loretta Harrington, and Donna Moore; father-in-law, Walter Spencer and brother-in-law, Kent Spencer. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Kathy Jo Spencer Moore; sons, Mark, Kevin (Stephanie), Sidney and Francis Moore; eight grandchildren; sisters, Shirley (Gordon) Lechner; brothers, Lloyd (Sigrid) Moore, Benjamin (Judy) Moore; mother-in-law, Mary Spencer; sisters-in-law, Sandi (Rick) and Joan (Larry) and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends are invited to Tom's services at Woodlawn National Cemetery on Friday, November 23, 2012 at 1pm with military honors. Tom's ashes will be placed in the columbarium immediately following in honor of his military service.
