Vevia M. Morse Obituary (1921 - 2012)

Of Horseheads, NY passed away peacefully at Bethany Manor, Monday morning, March 26, 2012 at the age of 91. Vevia was born January 1, 1921 in Big Flats, NY a daughter of the late Jacob and Elsie Dean Miller. She graduated from Painted Post High School in 1939 and married Donald Morse in 1942 who predeceased her in 2011. Vevia is survived by her son, Curtis Morse; grandchildren, Cheryl (Kevin) Lambert, Kari Morse & Laura Morse (Olsowsky); great grandchildren, Coltin & Connar Lambert, and Lucas Viele; sister-in-law, Alice Wood of Bath, NY and several nieces, nephews and cousins. The family will welcome relatives and friends to Sullivan's Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St. and Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 from 6-7PM. Mrs. Morse's funeral service will follow at 7PM with Rev. Rhonda Kouterick. She will be laid to rest along with her husband in Maple Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
