Virginia "Ginny" (Calhoun) Chamberlin\nHorseheads, NY \nPassed away peacefully at Bethany Manor, Horseheads, NY on January 20, 2022 at the age of 99. She was born in Wellsboro, PA April 25, 1922 to the late Roy & Mildred (Spencer) Calhoun. Ginny retired from Iszards in Elmira. She enjoyed her daily crossword puzzles and bowling. She will be remembered for her love of family and her willingness to always help others. Ginny was preceded in death by her husband Julian (Skeetz) Chamberlin, sisters Cleo Judson and Marcelete Dryburgh, and brother William Calhoun. Surviving Ginny is her son, John Chamberlin; daughter, Cindy (Bill) Butcher; grandchildren Shannon(Kelley) Spencer, Kevin (Kelly) Rockwell, Jayson (Carletta) Chamberlin and Shawn(Katie) Chamberlin; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandsons; two nieces and two nephews. The family welcomes your thoughts and prayers at this time but services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers those wishing to remember Ginny may make donations to a charity of one's choice in her memory.
