Wesley W. "Wes" Rockwell

ROCKWELL, Wesley W. of Millport passed away on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at the age of 86. Wesley was born, May 14, 1929 in Elmira, NY, a son to the late Russell Henry Rockwell and Mary Louise Sullivan Rockwell. Wes was predeceased by his sisters, Geraldine Meise and Virginia Decker as well as his brothers, Thomas and James Rockwell. Wes is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 40 years, Marilyn Eloise Scott Rockwell; daughter K. Sue (John) Bailey; sons, Wesley W. (Linda) Rockwell Jr. and Scott W. Rockwell; step-sons, Michael Lattin, Edward (Sara) Lattin; step-daughter, Hope (Philip) Dennis, sisters-in-law, Mary Rockwell, Grace Rockwell and Theodora Chriss; brother-in-law, Robert (Barb) Scott; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Wes served his country honorably with the US Army during the Korean War. He retired from Coring Glass Works after 43 years and enjoyed bowling, camping, fishing, hunting and attending Old Timer Shows. He also cherished time spent with his family and friends. The family will welcome relatives and friends to Sullivan's Funeral Home, 365 E. Franklin St. at Rt. 13, Horseheads, NY on Tuesday, December 22, 2015 from 1PM-3PM with his Funeral Service to follow with Rev. Jack Deyo. He will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memorial Park at the convenience of the family.
