Sullivan’s Funeral Home is locally owned and operated by Kevin R. Sullivan, a lifelong resident of Horseheads. Kevin has been a Funeral Director for 22 years. He is a graduate of Mohawk Valley Community College, Fredonia State College, and Simmon’s Institute of Funeral Service.

Kevin enjoys spending time with his family - wife, Lorrie; sons, Devin and Teagan; and their black lab, Leia. He enjoys all kinds of sports and outdoor activities.

Kevin has served as a Village Trustee in the Village of Horseheads, member and past President of the Chemung Sunrise Rotary, member and past President of BEST club, 26 year member of the Horseheads Village Fire Department, member and current President of the Finger Lakes Funeral Directors Association, member of the Chemung County Chamber of Commerce, member of the Elmira College Presidents Counsel, and member of the Arnot Foundation Board.

Tim started here at Sullivan’s Funeral Home in April of 2017. He is another lifelong resident of Horseheads after moving here with his family in 2003. He is a 2016 graduate of Horseheads High School, a 2018 graduate of Corning Community College, and a 2020 graduate of the Funeral Service Administration program at SUNY Canton. After completion of his residency, he became a licensed Funeral Director in February of 2022.

Tim is also a member of the Village of Horseheads Fire Department and Finger Lakes Funeral Directors Association. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, fishing, watching sports, playing the drums and guitar, and spending time with friends and family.

Jerry Mirando

Jerry started at Sullivan’s Funeral Home in March of 2025. He has been a Funeral Director for 20 Years, serving families in the Elmira, Horseheads, Montour Falls and Odessa areas. Jerry is a resident of Elmira Heights. He is a 1996 graduate of Odessa-Montour High School, Corning Community College and Simmon’s Institute of Funeral Service.

Jerry resides in Elmira Heights with his wife, and Horseheads native, Rachel Lehmann and just recently celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary. Together they have 3 daughters, Sophia Rose, Arabella Mae and Eva Camille. Adding 4 bonus children and adopting them into their family- Harley Tereasa, Joseph Michael, Kaitlin Kateri and Hannah Noelle. Jerry loves spending time with his family going on little getaways and keeping busy with projects around the house.

He is the current President of St. Peter & Paul’s Cemetery in Elmira, a member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians of Elmira and a member of the Finger Lakes Funeral Directors Association.
